Results vary for each client, but the effects of BOTOX® treatments can potentially last from 3 – 4 months. A BOTOX® session can take 15-20 minutes, and since treatments are non-surgical, there is usually no downtime associated with BOTOX® treatments. Post-treatment, it can take 3 days up to 2 weeks for BOTOX® to fully penetrate the facial muscles, and for results to show*.
Since BOTOX® is nonsurgical, there is no anesthesia required, however topical anesthetic cream may be applied to numb the application area. Most clients experience minimal discomfort during injection and a relatively pain-free experience. For some, there may be minor bruising at injection sites. Your doctor will go through post-treatment guidelines with you at your treatment session.
