What is Pixel?

Pixel Perfect™ can lift away the appearance of years of damage and rejuvenate the skin to make you look and feel younger. This is a laser procedure that can improve skin damage that has occurred due to acne, scarring, or over-exposure to the sun. One treatment is usually all that’s required to make your skin appear significantly more youthful.

How Does Pixel Work?

Tiny holes are made in the skin’s top layer. Your body will naturally start the healing process, and this improves the look and feel of the skin on your face. The holes that are made by the laser are called a micro-injury and when the treatment has performed the tissue surrounding these holes is not disrupted. The holes do not have to penetrate deeply to be effective.

The healing of the micro-injury holes is the first step in the recovery process. This happens quickly since the skin surrounding the small spots remains undisturbed and healthy.

Am I a Good Candidate For Pixel?

You’re a good candidate for Pixel if you have common complexion concerns like hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, wrinkles, and fine lines, uneven skin tone, and more.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

This treatment is safe, and you’ll feel comfortable during the entire process. You may notice redness appearing after the procedure but this will disappear within a few days. The best thing about Pixel Perfect is it usually requires a minimal number of treatments to see results. Other rejuvenation procedures for the skin can be long drawn out affairs that require extensive recovery times.

What Results Will I See?*

When compared to similar procedures such as chemical peels and skin resurfacing with lasers, Pixel Perfect® shows the fastest recovery times. The treatment encourages the new growth of collagen to diminish acne scars and wrinkles. You may also notice that your skin texture feels smoother. As well, you may also see that your pores seem smaller and that any pigmentation flaws in the skin have been corrected.

Is There Any Downtime?

There’s no downtime, but clients may experience a little bit of redness and peel after the treatments, which is normal. You should also wear sunscreen after your procedure, as your skin will be very sensitive to the sun’s UV rays.
